The BG Nexus Matt Black 2 Gang Switched Socket with USB-A and USB-C charging provides a convenient way to power appliances while charging multiple devices from a single socket. With 45W fast charging, it is ideal for mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other USB-chargeable devices in both domestic and commercial installations.
 
The integrated USB outlets support variable-voltage fast charging using PD and QC charging protocols for Android and iOS devices, with charging power shared across one Type-A and one Type-C outlet. Smart USB technology automatically detects the connected device and adjusts the charging pattern, while standby mode reduces power consumption once a device is fully charged. The socket can deliver up to 50% charge to compatible mobile phones in just 30 minutes and charge larger devices such as tablets and laptops significantly faster than standard 5V charging.
